Princess are doing the final touches for its new Y95, largest Y for yacht range and sharing flagship spot with the X95 model launched in 2020. The Princess Y95 replaces the 30M launched in 2015 and delivered in fifteen units, and although a meter smaller, and six GT of volume less, the new Y range flagship does fit in under 24 m load-line-length rules making it possible to be helmed by a standard yacht master licence. Designed by Pininfarina with naval architecture by Olesinski the Y95 features a planning hull with wave piercer, a characteristic it shares with the X95 but Princess so far not using in any of its smaller models. The Y95 also breaks Princess record for the largest amount of glazing ever used in a Yacht build in Plymouth. The standard layout of the Y95 offers five guest cabins, including an owners stateroom on the forward main full body part of the main deck. Hull one of the Princess Y95 is powered by twin Man 2000hp giving a top speed up to 24 knots. Currently Princess has three more Y95 inbuilds.
